There’s a familiar face in the StufZ burger press commercial. It’s celebrity chef, Brian Duffy!
Duffy developed his passion for cooking as a child, when his big Irish-Italian family would crowd into the kitchen to prepare their meals together. He went on to study the French method at The Restaurant School in Philadelphia, then worked under world-renowned Chef Jean Marie LaCroix at The Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia. From there, Chef Duffy partnered in opening Kristophers, a BYOB restaurant whose unassuming style and inventive dishes met with widespread critical acclaim.
Following his time at Kristophers, Duffy became the Corporate Executive Chef of Kildare’s Irish Pub. He was on the forefront of the celebrated gastropub movement and he developed what he called the New Celtic cuisine. Following his tenure at Kildare’s, Chef Duffy joined forces with Seafood America as a consultant and Executive Chef, where he developed Tapas Tonite.
Chef Duffy has also carved out a second profession as a television personality. Making his debut on Food Network’s “Date Plate,” Duffy went on to appear on DIY Network, HGTV, NBC, and Fine Living Network. You can see currently see Duffy on Spike TV’s “Bar Rescue” and in the StufZ commercial below:
