CBS station, KDKA (Pittsburg, PA), reviewed the StufZ burger press for their “Does it Really Do That?” series with Jennifer Antkowiak.
Antkowiak asked Dee Quinn (of Monroeville,PA) and her kids to help her with the StufZ review. “We definitely have burgers, maybe once a week…. I think this could be a real game-changer,” Quinn said.
Dee’s daughter, Annie, placed some ground beef into their StufZ. She then closed the StufZ lid and latch to lock, and pushed the handle down to form a pocket. “Oh, there we go” exclaims Dee. “That looks nice!” There was an even, deep pocket in the meat patty.
Annie and Dee then load up the pocket with bacon and cheddar cheese, they used StufZ to create a meat top, and then they were ready to grill. They watch as their stuffed burger cooked nicely on the grill and did not fall apart. Then they were ready to taste and Dee’s son, Patrick, was eager to go first and was happy with his StufZ stuffed burger! The Quinn family gave StufZ “thumbs up” all around!

Crystal concludes her StufZ review by noting the numerous possibilities that could be created with StufZ and says: “It would be great for a party. You could set up a burger bar, whatever a person wanted loaded into their burger, and then grilled. You could also use ground chicken or ground turkey to make healthy sandwiches. Former New England Patriots tight end, Jermaine Wiggens, tested out StufZ and grilled his burgers alongside Leslie Gaydos from NECN in a recent “Does It Work?” segment.
A burger stuffed with bleu cheese was created while using StufZ and coined, “The Wiggie.” A second recipe was used filling the burger with onions and cheese – it remained unnamed, emphasizing Jermaine’s preference.
So, how did the StufZ burgers taste and hold up? The one word response from Jermaine spoke volumes, “Touchdown!”

The StufZ hamburger press was recently reviewed for As Seen on TV Blog and the reviewer, Shane, said he was sure about StufZ. “I was a little concerned at first when testing it out that it would be complicated to use” admits Shane. “Thankfully, that’s NOT the case. It really was really easy! You just press the bottom to make your pocket, fill it up with your ingredients, and seal the top.”
Shane goes to discuss how the stuffed burgers made with StufZ held up during the cooking process. “I was also impressed with how well the stuffed patties held up during cooking. The consistently sized walls that the StufZ creates when making the pocket seems to be the secret.”
Shane concludes his StufZ review by saying: “All in all, I really liked testing out the StufZ burger press and my family will continue to use it well into the future as it does its’ job really well for a good price. I highly recommend this to anyone who likes delicious, gourmet burgers or just wants to spice up their burger nights!”
